뽀샵 스타 1위는 누구?

미국의 뉴욕 데일리 뉴스가 지난 12일 교정을 거쳐 배포된 할리우드 스타들의 사진 28장을 공개해 전세계 네티즌들의 관심을 끌고 있다. 코리아헤럴드는 그 중 가장 충격적인 사진 5장을 소개한다.

데미 무어는 지난해 W 잡지 12월호 표지(왼쪽)에 사라진 엉덩이 사진이 실려 곤욕을 치렀다. 그는 사진 교정을 부인했으나 한국판 W(오른쪽)에 엉덩이 살이 붙은 원본 사진이 사용되면서 이것이 거짓임이 탄로났다.

또 비욘세는 검은 피부색에 대한 콤플렉스 때문에 피부색을 하얗게 처리했으며, 세계적인 정상급 모델 하이디 클룸 또한 기술의 힘을 빌려 주름살을 제거한 후 이탈리아 GQ 표지모델로 등장했다.

한편, ‘포토샵의 여왕’으로 알려진 머라이어 캐리는 앨범 표지에 실물보다 가늘어진 허리와 풍만해진 가슴을 선보인 이후 의혹을 불러일으켜 누리꾼들에게 이에 대해 해명하기도 했다.

하지만 포토샵 기술로 가장 굴욕을 맛본 스타를 꼽는다면 영국의 키이라 나이틀리가 아닐까. 2004년 ‘킹 아더’를 프로모션할 당시 마케팅팀은 더 섹시한 이미지를 만들기 위해 키이라 나이틀리의 뒤에서 납작한 가슴을 부풀리는 작업을 거쳤고, 나중에 결과물을 본 그는 사진 속의 가슴이 자신의 것이 아님을 인정한 것으로 알려졌다.

Demi Moore’s disappearing hip

Demi Moore went on the defensive after critics slammed the actress over a photo of her on W magazine's cover in which she appears to missing a piece of her hip. The actress even took to Twitter to deny that the photo was altered in any way. Fashion photog Anthony Citrano also claims the mag's Korean edition, which used the same image for its January cover (right), has replaced the hip missing in the American version.
